Standard Luxury
The standard Premiere trim comes with stunning 18-inch alloys, adaptive suspension, adaptive headlights, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control and heated, 10-way adjustable front seats. If this wasn’t enough to get you going, the Lincoln MKZ also comes with a rear-view camera, voice controls and Lincoln’s Sync 3 media system that is accessible through an eight-inch touchscreen display and can be enjoyed through a fantastic 11-speaker setup.
The Premiere trim comes with Lincoln’s standard turbocharged 2.0 liter engine which gives you a respectable 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Combined with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, this engine is capable of delivering 21/31 mpg for city/highway driving for the front wheel drive model and 20/28 mpg for the all-wheel drive model.
Hybrid Option Available
The hybrid option is where Lincoln find themselves head and shoulders above the competition. While most companies will charge extra for the hybrid option, Lincoln offers theirs for the same price as the gas engines, meaning that if you prefer fuel economy over power, you don’t have to pay extra.
The Hybrid option is also almost exactly the same in design, feature level and luxury as its gas counterparts, something that’s almost unheard of in the car world. The hybrid engine is Lincoln’s 2.0 liter engine which is teamed with a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor to deliver 188 horsepower and an incredible range of 41/38 mpg for city/highway driving.
The Lincoln MKZ is a great car that simply exudes luxury. If you are looking for an affordable sedan that oozes class and elegance, then you need look no further than the Lincoln MKZ. With loads of available options for features, trim levels and three engines to choose from, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
