2021 Lincoln Lineup in Covington May Surprise You

With both the iconic Lincoln Continental and midsize Lincoln MKZ sedans getting discontinued after the 2020 model year, the 2021 Lincoln lineup in Covington LA will be made up exclusively of SUVs and crossovers. There are rumors of the company bringing back the Lincoln Town Car, but no definitive word has been released. This means you'll still be able to choose among four highly rated models: the full-size Lincoln Navigator, the mid-size Lincoln Aviator, mid-size Lincoln Nautilus, and the compact Lincoln Corsair.

The seven passenger Lincoln Navigator is riding high as the top American full-size luxury SUV. The fourth-generation design was introduced in 2018 with outstanding feedback from critics and buyers, and the 2021 model isn't supposed to receive major changes. However, we can expect more standard features and a few tech updates. It boasts a spacious and opulent cabin with abundant space for adults in all three rows. There's plenty of cargo space as well, especially in the L (long wheelbase) version. Even though there's no V8 engine option, the twin turbocharged V6 delivers all the power most drivers would need. Add in the capability to tow up to 8,700 pounds and still deliver a serene and ultra-comfortable ride, and it's easy to understand why the Lincoln Navigator stands out from the crowd.

Next in the 2021 Lincoln lineup in Covington LA is the Lincoln Aviator. This midsize luxury SUV also seats up to seven, and is powered by the twin turbo V6, although a plug-in hybrid is available. Its comfort, features, and styling are much like its full-size sibling, but the smaller size makes it more nimble and easier to maneuver. The interior is luxurious, roomy, and comfortable with tons of sumptuous options such as 30-way adjustable front seats with massage, a 28 speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system, and soft close doors, to name a few. The Lincoln Aviator provides 18 cubic feet of storage with all seats in their upright position, more than its BMW X5 and Cadillac XT6 rivals.

2021 Lincoln lineup in Covington LA: Lincoln Nautilus

Coming in smaller the Lincoln Aviator is the Lincoln Nautilus, launched in 2018 to replace the Lincoln MKX, which was retired. It's also in the mid-size segment but has just two rows of seating for up to five passengers. The Lincoln Nautilus delivers a lush ride, an airy upscale cabin, and a choice between two smooth running turbocharged engines. Either the 250 horsepower 2.0 liter 4-cylinder or the 335 hp 2.7 liter V6 deliver sufficient power, but the V6 is useful for passing or merging situations.

The biggest news for this crossover comes from a leaked photo online that shows a heavily revised interior. The photo reportedly came from an employee of the plant where the vehicle is produced.  The most noticeable changes are the center console design and a brand new dashboard. The new look better aligns the Lincoln Nautilus with the rest of the 2021 Lincoln lineup in Covington LA.

Finally, the Lincoln luxury gets slimmed down to the compact crossover segment in the form of the Lincoln Corsair. It's offered with a choice of three different powertrains: plug-in hybrid; 250 hp, 2.0 liter 4-cylinder twin turbo; or 280 hp, 2.3 liter 4-cylinder twin turbo. The larger engine comes with standard AWD, the smaller has the option of FWD or AWD. The Lincoln Corsair follows in the footsteps of its larger siblings and makes comfort and style top priorities.

For an even more alluring appearance, the company is expanding the availability of its Monochromatic Package (previously only available on the Lincoln Navigator) to include the entire 2021 Lincoln lineup in Covington LA.
