Both will be getting a six-speed automatic transmission, and an option between front-wheel and all-wheel drive.

Steering and suspension settings will also vary depending on which kind of drive mode you choose: Normal, Comfort, Sport. There’s also the optional adaptive steering, which further improves car handling and responsiveness to driver commands.

The Matter of Safety

Your driving experience is made better with the help of active-safety systems, such as adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection, and a 360-degree camera that lets you see the entire perimeter of your car making for a more accurate parallel parking.

Airbags are strategically placed within the cabin, of course, and seats are made comfortable. You can even get a massage feature if you get the rear seating package. All in all, it’s not just the implemented devices that make a 2017 Lincoln Continental ride a memorable one, but also the comfort you’ll get inside.
